<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12pt;">Born
in Brookline Massachusetts in March of 1948, Peter was raised in Norton,
Massachusetts. He started drawing and painting as a child. Being one of eight
children there was not enough money to purchase art supplies so he used
leftover paint-by-number paints to compose pictures on paper bags after his
mother went shopping. Peter cut the bags into workable pieces of paper then
ironed out the creases to make the bag smooth. As he aged his family recognized
the talent and began purchasing art paper and paints for birthday and Christmas
gifts. In high school, he took drafting courses and had two periods of art a
day. Peter graduated from Marshfield High School in 1967 and joined the
Marines. He is a Vietnam and Desert Storm Veteran. During his thirty years of
service he continued to paint scenes from around the world, at places where he
was stationed. Peter sketches and photographs his scenes then completes his
paintings in his studio. He has taught classes in the fundamentals of drawing
and how to view subjects in perspective. As a self taught artist, he holds a
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Human
Resource Management. He has participated in numerous art shows and contests and
has earned blue ribbons for his works. Today he works with a variety of mediums
to include oils, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, colored pencil and charcoal.
Admittedly, he favors acrylic paint on watercolor paper. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12pt;">Peter
has sold paintings around the globe and <a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="_GoBack"></a>has a studio at
the Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, Massachusetts. Peter accepts commission
work and has completed customers’ “First House” paintings. He resides in
Pepperell with his wife Denise (also a veteran). <o:p></o:p></span></div>

her children. When her youngest went to college she decided to follow her

her to build layers helping to develop depth, shape, color, light and shadows.
Her work gives a sense of peace and beauty creating paintings with simple

My professional accomplishments are highlighted by my creativity as a painter, marketing consultant, commercial designer and teacher. While I prefer watercolor as my medium of choice, I also enjoy oils, pastels and pen and ink. I enjoy painting all types of subject matter including florals, landscapes, animals portraits and still life's. I do commission work in all of these areas based on client preferences. Currently, I belong to a number of Art Association which provide me with an excellent perspective of today's art environment. Interacting with fellow artists motivates me to continuously achieve excellence while challenging my creativity. A feeling, a mood, you want the painting to draw you in, summon memories , a response a reaction. That is what I'm trying to achieve in my paintings.
